In 1943, Renee Schick, a widow with small children to support, successfully shared her love of baking with her community by opening Schick’s Bakery in Brooklyn. Rising at 3 a.m. to bake the best desserts imaginable, Renee Schick soon created the most famous bakery in New York.
Over the past 75 years, we have expanded to include other brands and other treats, but Renee Schick’s passion for crafting indulgent baked goods has grown to become the leading baker of handcrafted babkas, cookies, cakes and breads in North America. Respecting the love with which Renee Schick baked each delicacy, we continue to use only small batch, artisanal baking.
Natural, dairy free, and kosher ingredients attract passionate customers; innovative, gluten free and non-GMO baked goods engender gratified retail partners.
